I'm told that Wilder is well-known as a mastering engineer , but not as a mixing engineer, so it's possible that the credits on the packaging are partly wrong and fail to identify the person who actually did the remixing.  For want of better information, though, I shall continue to refer to Wilder as the responsible party. 

Mark Wilder's name has appeared on remastered CDs from numerous other Sony/Columbia artists, including Dave Brubeck, Miles Davis and Bloomfield/Kooper/Stills, and indeed he is credited with "digital editing" on Dylan's Live 1966 release.
